Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Phase Energy installs residential property solar panels, battery storage and EV charging systems across Kent. The locations shown on this page are key areas we cover, but they are not necessarily the limit of where we work.
Possibly, yes. If your area is not shown, contact us with your postcode and we can confirm whether we can arrange a survey and installation at your property.
We’ll visit your property, look at the roof, available space and electrical setup, and talk through how you use electricity and what you want the system to achieve. Our design team can then prepare a recommended system and quotation based on your home rather than a standard package.
Most conventional domestic rooftop solar installations can normally be carried out under permitted development rights, but exceptions can apply, including listed buildings, some conservation-area properties and unusual installations. If something about your property needs further checking, we’ll flag it during the survey or design stage.
Once you are happy with the proposed system, Phase Energy currently takes a £500 deposit so the relevant grid application can be progressed. The deposit is then taken into account as part of the overall installation cost. We’ll explain the payment process and any applicable refund conditions before you commit.
Timescales vary according to the property, system design, grid approval and installation requirements. After the survey and proposal stage, Phase Energy manages the relevant DNO process and agrees the installation date with you once the necessary checks and approvals are in place.
